In response to the call of Micah 6:8, We Are FREE strives to do justice, love kindness and walk humbly with our God by advocating and speaking on behalf of the victims of human trafficking.
The mission of We Are FREE is to Free All Persons Trapped by Trafficking in Forced Labor or Prostitution by Proclaiming Liberty, Providing a Refuge, Healing the Brokenhearted, Raising up the Desolate and Replacing Shame with Honor.
This mission is accomplished through:
Advocacy and Awareness Campaign events hosted by churches, civic organizations, schools, community groups and/or individuals where the attendee is not only educated on the reality of human trafficking as it exists in the United States but is also equipped with the necessary skills to identify a potential victim and contact the proper authorities and agencies that can then provide assistance.
Providing services to survivors at a faith-based after care facility. This facility, Hebron Hills, will be a comprehensive care facility that will provide long-term temporary housing while addressing all physical, psychological and spiritual needs. The facility will also provide all necessary educational requirements and vocational training so that each resident has the power to transition to an independent sustainable life. The overarching goal is to identify the specific needs of each resident and meet those needs while at the same time cultivating all that is unique about his or her Godly design so that he or she is able to achieve their own goals.
