In this world compromise is almost a given. If you want to get ahead it is almost a forgone conclusion that we must compromise. But what does the bible say to that? Well lets start here.
James 4:4 (KJV): Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
Recently there was a situation involving a real estate negotiation where the re was an opportunity to purchase a desired property. As we got into the negotiations I set down our non-negotiables that we would not compromise on. As a result the negotiation may very well fall through. But it was our conviction in the principles of God’s Word that said, “Here is the line, we will not compromise!”. If indeed we do not get the desired property so be it. We will stand in our integrity. So let’s ask the obvious question, “Where will you stand in your convictions from God’s Word?”. The Word of God is clear on its principles regarding the ideals of this world. How about you?
1 Corinthians 16:13–14 (KJV): 13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. 14 Let all your things be done with charity.
God Bless you all and “Compromise Elsewhere”. Have a great day!
